kkaufmandesign - bringing ideas to life - portfolio

A sampling of the range of my work to date. By no means is this an exhaustive portfolio. It is meant to give you an idea of the breadth of my capabilities and maybe serve as some inspiration to the work we could do together. Due to the scale of some of the trade show work and presentation work that I’ve done you won’t see it here.

Connor Group PR kit:

The Connor Group needed a corporate identity. They had a logo that they liked, but needed to translate that into marketing and PR materials. I utilized the slashes in the logo as a unifying visual element and bold use of their corporate colors to highlight the company’s vibrant culture and fierce entrepreneurial spirit.

The Connor Group’s associates skew young adult – they work hard and play harder. We needed a benefits brochure that spoke to this demographic in an exciting way – so they would actually read it and be encouraged to build a career with the Connor Group. The Asssociates newsletter is another vehicle to speak to feature associates and deliver corporate news and messages in an appealing way to this demographic. The return on this investment will be improved associate retention over the next 3-5 years.

Critter Sitter brochure:

Critter Sitter’s had a great following in FL, but needed a facelift to continue to be relevant and draw new clients. This brochure was part of a collaborative marketing package that included redesign of their website.

Trade Show and Conference materials:

Luxottica Retail has had an annual associate conference for at least the last 15 years. Associate enthusiasm and attendance was waning as the company expanded and went through some culturally difficult acquisitions. We developed a marketing plan that included 3 mailers pre-conference and a welcome packet delivered upon arrival to garner excitement and reinvigorate morale surrounding the conference. Feedback was overwhelming favorable – mission accomplished! This project also included extensive multi media presentations and venue signage.

Sight Night Collateral:

Sight Night is an Eyeglass collection event through Luxottica Retail’s OneSight program that encourages trick or treaters to collect eyeglasses on Halloween night. In the past this program had various marketing materials that were cumbersome for collectors to use – I was able to incorporate all the materials into one 8.5 x 11 brochure resulting in a simplified user experience and a reduction in printing costs.

Par for Sight brochure:

Another OneSight event – this included event signage, branded give aways, 2 color brochure and an invitation/save the date card.

Radio Frenzy:

This radio station out of Dallas was looking for a marketing package that included letterhead and a promotional mailer. They wanted a look and feel that was clearly their brand and screamed cash.

Organized Living catalogs and Marketing materials:

Organized Living had a strong retail presence 10 years ago – in the last 3 years they re-launched the brand in the Cincinnati area and needed to start from the ground up from a visual communication standpoint. I was involved in everything from photography styling and wardrobe to model selection and set propping. The marketing package included monthly catalogs, PR kits, Retail POP, store wayfinding and window banners, associate communications and design center brochures and advertising collateral.
